Staff
The Playhouse teachers and staff work hard to facilitate our mission of providing an environment which fosters the individuality and social development of each child. The staff includes:

• an education director
• an administrator
• experienced, certified teachers, and
• classroom assistant teachers
  

Teachers and Admininstrators work together to publish a bi-monthly Mid-Week Memo, which provides a specific outline of class activities every two weeks. It is very popular with parents.

Parents
The Playhouse parents play many roles in all aspects of our cooperative organization.  They are encouraged to be active participants in their child’s education by volunteering in the classroom and communicating regularly with their child’s teacher. 

Parents are expected to work on committees, participate in fund-raising activities, and help maintain the building.  The spirit of community is further nurtured by

• seasonal picnics,
• children’s theater performances,
• parent “fireside chats", and
• workshops on child development.
